COME CLOSER: Our interview with Glasgow's Reckless Abandon!

PART 1: "THE INTERVIEW"

1 - What was your earliest musical memory and what pushed you towards pursuing a career in the music industry?

"We all used to listen to the likes of Busted and McFly, so we were all individually inspired to start music from a young age."

"Ryan was in a band called A.I.R. for about three years."

3 - How did Reckless Abandon begin?

6 - Do you have any rituals before you go on stage?

"At our first gig the song 'Chocolate' by The 1975 was playing over the PA before we went on and since then we always listen to it before performing."

7 - Any live dates coming up?

"We're going to be playing The Garage (Attic) on Friday the 11th of October, it's really important that we have a good crowd there because we have been offered the opportunity to support Little Comets in Edinburgh, and the more people we get at The Garage, the better our chance of getting to support Little Comets."

8 - Any new songs in the pipeline?

"We don't have any tracks recorded yet but do have a few original songs and are hoping to record an EP and hopefully release it in 2014."

9 - When can fans be expecting the next release?

"Because we're hoping to record a demo soon we won't be releasing anything anytime soon, but we want to record an EP and hopefully release it in 2014."

10 - Who would be your dream collaboration?

"David Bowie, he's a big influence for us and we all really respect his musical talent."
