1 - What was your first musical memory and what pushed you towards pursuing a career in the record industry?
"Playing at an open mic session at The Firehouse
in Ayr, I really just wanted something that I could be proud of to be honest!"
2 - Had you been involved with any other bands prior to becoming a solo artist as Jack Souter?
"Nope, I occasionally do gigs with a friend, Joe Sledmere on
Cajon."
3 - How would you describe the sound of Jack Souter?
"Hmm tricky, folksy?"
4 - Any new songs in the pipeline?
"I'm always trying to write my own material,
still early days for me in that respect though!"
5 - Do you have any 'rituals' before going on stage?
"Not really no!"
6 - Any live dates coming up?
"4th of October in the Market Inn, Ayr in aid of
Amnesty International and 21st of October in the Rio Café, Glasgow."
7 - When can fans expect the next official release?
"Who knows aha."
8 - Who would be your dream collaboration?
"Ed Sheeran and me!"
9 - Who would be in your dream supergroup?
"Passenger, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley,
would be very weird but I think it could work!"

"George."
